The BSc. in Radiography and Imaging Technology was introduced to address the growing need for professional radiology technologists. This is a 3 year regular degree program which is taught through a blend of classroom and clinical education. This course will give students insights into how radiology and imaging technology is used for the diagnosis of various disease and disorder in the human body. In clinical rotations, the students experience hands-on learning in each discipline of imaging and, under supervision, performs diagnostic testing in the department of Radio Diagnosis and Imaging Technology. Students undergo rotatory training in various techniques of whole body X-rays including procedure such as Barium studies, intravenous procedure, HSG, RGU and MCU etc., and also scanning procedures of CT and MRI.

Eligibility Criteria
The minimum age for candidates desirous of seeking admission should not be less than 17 years as on 31.12.2023.
The candidate must have passed senior school Certificate examination (10+2) of Board of School Education, Haryana or any Board recognized by Central Government/ Any State Government with subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English Core/English Elective and should have obtained at least 45% aggregate marks for General Category(40% marks for SC/BC/PWBD category) in Physics, Chemistry, Biology & English (PCB&E) taken together, however, the candidates should have obtained the pass marks in each subject separately.

A Radiology and Imaging Technologist is a health care professional who employs a range of different imaging techniques and sophisticated equipment to produce high quality images during any injury or disease. They take the images using ranges of techniques including: X-rays, Mammography, Fluoroscopy, CT(Computed Tomography), MRI(Magnetic Resonance Imaging), DEXA, Angiography, etc. They helps health care providers see structures inside your body.
